Moisture intrusion

Moisture Intrusion: The Silent Structural Enemy.

From Drips to Damage—We Stop It in Time.

Moisture intrusion and hidden leaks are among the most common causes of property damage and poor indoor air quality. Even a small, unnoticed water issue can lead to structural deterioration, mold growth, and costly repairs.

Our Moisture Intrusion Inspection provides a comprehensive evaluation of your property to locate, document, and help prevent water-related issues before they escalate.

What's Included

Exterior Assessment

We begin by inspecting the entire building exterior, including:

  • Roof coverings and penetrations
  • Siding, flashing, windows, and doors
  • Foundation walls and grading
  • Gutters, downspouts, and drainage flow

Each element is evaluated for signs of water entry, improper installation, or deterioration that could allow moisture to penetrate the structure.

Interior Investigation

Inside the home, we perform a full inspection of all accessible areas, including:

  • Attics, basements, and crawl spaces
  • Walls, ceilings, and floors
  • Plumbing fixtures and HVAC components

Using moisture meters and infrared (thermal) imaging, we can identify hidden leaks, elevated humidity, or concealed dampness not visible to the naked eye.

Reporting and Recommendations

Following the inspection, you’ll receive a detailed, photo-documented report outlining:

  • Locations and causes of moisture intrusion
  • Measured moisture levels and affected materials
  • Preventive maintenance recommendations
  • Practical repair guidance for long-term protection

Our goal is to help you protect your property, preserve structural integrity, and prevent mold growth or future water damage.
